College Class AA Tournaments
College Class A Tournaments
High School Tournaments
Event Hosting Requirements (Field and School)
"I would agree that the atmosphere of a
college tournament is much different for new teams than a regular
tournament. That is what has drawn interest in tournaments
for some of our memebers, the more relaxed atmosphere. It is
great to have a tournament that appeals to both experienced
players and tournament newbies."
- Matt Spitz, Iowa State University Cyclones
Eligibility Requirements
ALL players on a college team must be full-time students admitted to a degree program (associate, bachelors, masters or doctorate) at the same college or university during the semester in which they are competing. Continuing education, advanced placement, high school affiliate courses, and other courses not taken as part of a degree program do not count towards full-time student status. There are limited exceptions for coops, internships, military duty, and a student's final semester prior to earning a degree. Any of these exceptions must be cleared with the NCPA in advance. Teams who list ineligible players on their roster will be disqualified. The NCPA will verify a student's status through the school's admissions office. It is the team's responsibility to certain that all players are eligble.
Registration Payment Deadlines
Payment for events is due 10 days prior to the event date. The entry fee will increase $25 after that time. The entry fee will increase another $25 (a total increase of $50) 4 days prior to the event. The increase is to encourage teams to financially commit to attending events in a timely manner while still allowing teams to pay late under exceptional circumstances.
Register For Events
ALL teams must sign up online for ALL NCPA events. The NCPA uses the APPA player
ID system to provide a more convenient
and useful registration process. Each player must get a player
ID number. Once your team captain has their ID number (one
captain per school) they can register your team for events. ALL of your players must be on your roster prior to play. Use the links below to register:
